By booking and/or attending any ice skating session operated by We Are Arena Ltd (WAAL), ticket holders and participating guests agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms must be accepted in full by you and all guests under your booking.
Participation & Risk
Ice skating is an activity involving inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, contact with other participants or objects, wet or slippery surfaces, equipment failure, and actions or negligence of others. All participants skate at their own risk. Individuals with pre-existing medical conditions, previous injuries, joint or mobility problems, head injuries, pregnancy, or who are taking prescribed medication should carefully consider whether it is safe to participate. We Are Arena Ltd (WAAL) is not liable for personal injury except in the case of proven negligence by WAAL.
Children
Participants under the age of 13 must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 16 or over. Children aged 12 and under may only enter the rink when accompanied by a responsible ticket-holding adult.
Safety & Conduct
Smoking, eating, drinking, and the use of mobile phones or cameras are prohibited on the ice.
All instructions from marshals and rink staff must be followed at all times.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or behaving in a manner deemed unsafe or disruptive may be removed from the rink and venue without refund. WAAL reserves the right to remove any individual for breach of safety terms or conduct.
Session Duration and Tickets
Session Duration: Ticket holders are entitled only to the skating session as specified on their booking/ticket. Each session is typically 45 minutes, and skating beyond this time is not permitted. Late arrival may result in reduced time on the ice and is not refundable.
Tickets: All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and must be purchased through official channels. Defaced, resold, or altered tickets are void. WAAL is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
Venue Policies
Personal Property: WAAL is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property, whether left on site, in lockers, or in cloakrooms.
Photography & Filming: By attending, you consent to photography and filming by WAAL for promotional and security purposes. Personal photography is allowed, but professional filming requires prior written approval. Tripods and selfie sticks are prohibited on the ice.
Clothing: Suitable outdoor clothing and ice skates are required. The rink operates outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, etc.); no refunds will be issued due to inclement weather.
Refunds and Cancellations
If a session is cancelled by WAAL due to operational reasons, you may be offered an alternative session time or a refund at the venue’s discretion. No alternative or refund will be offered if you are removed from the rink for breach of safety or conduct terms.
Confirmation of Acceptance
By proceeding with your booking and selecting tickets, you confirm that you and anyone under your booking have read, understood, and accept this waiver in its entirety, including The Winter Gardens at Beckenham Place Park’s official terms and conditions.
